 STAPLE GREEN SMOOTHIE

This smoothie is a staple in our home. Get your greens and fruit all in a cup for great energy through out your day!

  • 2 cups baby spinach

  • 3/4 cup mango

  • 1 cup strawberries

  • 1/2 cup almond milk

  • 1/2 cup coconut water

  • 1 tbs almond butter

  • Ice

     serves 2

*replace almond milk with greek yogurt, for a thicker, more filling version.

ICE CREAM SMOOTHIE BOWL

Hard to believe how nourishing and filling this smoothie bowl is, it tastes so much like ice cream and will keep you going till lunch! This amazing combo is inspired by the cook book 'Oh She Glows'.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries

  • 2 frozen bananas

  • 1/4 cup avocado

  • 2 tbsp almond butter

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • dash cinnamon

  • ice     

Serves 2

MACA DREAM SMOOTHIE

Maca root powder has been shown to balance hormones , enhancing mood, energy and memory. Those who regularly use it say they feel a difference relatively quickly after beginning to use it! Add Maca to your smoothies and healthy treats to boost your energy and mood.

Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen bananas

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 1 cup chilled thick coconut milk (only use the thick part from can)

  • 1-2 tbsp almond butter

  • 2 teaspoons Maca powder 

  • Handful cacao nibs (optional) 

Blend.

BLUEBERRY BREAKFAST IN A CUP 💜

Protein, Fiber, vitamins and minerals all combined in one for a satisfying delicious breakfast all in a cup!

Ingredinets:​

  • 1 frozen banana 

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries 

  • 1/2 lemon juiced

  • 1/2 cup raw oats

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1 cup almond milk 

  • 1-2 dates (optional)

CREAMY NUTRITIOUS SMOOTHIE:

Delicious, creamy and filling!

Ingredients:

  •  1 cup thick coconut milk ( just the thick part)

  • 1/2 cup walnuts 

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional) 

  • 2-3 dates 

  • 3/4 cup almond milk

  • 1 mango (1 cup) 

  • Ice 

  • Blend. Serves 2.

HIDDEN GREENS CHOCOLATE PROTEIN SMOOTHIE

If you're a chocolate lover and want to get some greens in your life without tasting it, this drink is for you! 

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

  • 1 full cup baby spinach

  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder (or pure cocoa)

  • 1 dash cinnamon 

  • 1 frozen banana 

  • 1 heaping tablespoon almond butter (or any nut butter)

  • 2 pitted medjool dates 

  • 2-3 tablespoons hemp seeds (if desired for extra protein boost) 

  • Handful frozen blueberries 

  • Handful ice 

Blend in vitamix & enjoy!

CHAI SMOOTHIE: 🖤

Ingredients:
Spices for Chai:
1 tsp cinnamon 
1/4 tsp ginger 
1/4 tsp cardamon
Dash nutmeg 
Added to:
2 frozen bananas 
1 1/4 cups almond milk
1 tbsp almond butter 
2 tbsp flax meal - great thing in the am for digestion or you can use oats for good fiber instead.   
2 dates
Blend and enjoy! *serves 2

 PINEAPPLE SPINACH REFRESH:

Hit the refresh button with this amazing RK Smoothie!
Do you know your blood type? It’s not a rule of thumb but it’s a good way to further individualize your diet and to keep in mind foods that can work well for you. Pineapple is a great one for blood type A (that’s me) and in general is an awesome cleansing fruit. Combined with pumpkin seeds and yogurt both filled with magnesium giving you strength in your day and your greens of course + coconut water to hydrate you’ll be so good to go with this one!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh pineapple 

  • 2 cups spinach 

  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt 

  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds 

  • 3/4 cup coconut water

  • Ice

 CACAO POWER SMOOTHIE 💪🏻

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 3/4 cup yogurt

  • 2 tbsp almond butter

  • 2-3 dates (depending on desired sweetness)

  • 1/2 cup oats 

  • 1 apple 

  • Handful cacao nibs 

  • Dash Cinnamon

RK WATERMELON SMOOTHIE

Magnesium & Potassium regulate your blood sugar levels which in turn can help keep you satisfied for longer.
These fruits all include potassium and magnesium +watermelon is 90 percent water; ‘juice of hydration’.

Blend:
5 cups watermelon
1 frozen banana
2-3 cups strawberries 
1/2 cup coconut water (super hydration too)
1/2 cup almond milk or 2 tbsp thick coconut milk
1 juiced lemon or lime 
Serves approx 4 people.

IMMUNE BOOSTING SMOOTHIE

Everything you want you and your kids to eat is in a one cup smoothie! 

Ingredients:
1 cup baby spinach= iron, fiber, vitamins
1 banana= antioxidants, potassium
1 cup frozen strawberries= vitamin C
1 Persian cucumber= flushes out toxins
1/2 cup coconut water= vitamins, minerals 
2 tbsp Greek yogurt= probiotic, protein 
1 tbsp hemp seeds= omega-3, omega-6
1/2 cup beets= vitamin C, B, fiber, potassium 
Blend and enjoy! Serves 2-4

CELERY JUICE

A Healthier You

Celery is amazing for juicing because it has a mild pleasant taste especially combined with fruit. It's rich in vitamins, minerals, it restores strength, renews vitality and just to name a few more it aids in acidity, hydration, blood pressure, cholesterol, constipation, inflammation and weight loss.
Also added a few apples, oranges and grapefruit for sweetness and added vitamins and minerals.  
Throw in some blueberries to garnish.

LIMONANA

Who needs to buy bottled lemonade? Bring a taste of Israel's most refreshing summer drink into your own home.  It takes minutes to make & so hydrating!

Ingredients:
4 lemons 
3 apples 
Handful mint leaves 
2-3 tablespoons honey 
Lots of ice 
Directions: 
Juice the lemons and apples in a juicer. Place the lemon apple  juice in the vitamix/blender and blend with mint, honey and ice! 
Makes a full pitcher. Quick & easy!
*if you don't have a juicer you can sub the apples with all lemons, hand squeeze and then blend with the rest.

Tropical am juice

TROPICAL A.M. JUICE

Fresh juice in the a.m. brings a fresh rejuvinating, cleansing feeling.

Ingredients:

1. Mostly pineapple= Immune system support, bone strength, helps with energy & digestion + contains all the daily vitamin C you need!

2. 2 oranges= supports heart health with the fiber potassium and calcium it contains, helps promote good skin + like pineapple, also provides your daily vitamin C.

3. 1 grapefruit= one of the most hydrating fruits, it consists of 91 percent water and because of its water + fiber content it promotes healthy digestion (preventing constipation).

4. Parsley = amazing immune booster  due to its many vitamins & antioxidants

5. Mint= can relieve allergy symptoms & indigestion naturally due to its antioxidants and anti inflammatory agents.  Juice it and make the most of your day!

TWO TONED ICY POLES

Strawberry mix 
2 cups strawberries 
1 frozen banana 
1 cup milk of your choice 
1/2 cup yogurt 
2 heaping tbsp oats 
1/4 cup maple syrup (optional)
Blend in vitamix and fill icy pole maker half way. (Or enjoy as a smoothie!) 
Chocolate mix  
2 frozen banana 
1/2 cup yogurt 
1 cup milk
1 tbs Cocoa 
1/4 cup maple syrup 
1 tbsp flax meal 
1 tbsp oat flour 
Blend and pour on top of strawberry mixture (enjoy as a smoothie too!)

MANGO RASPBERRY SWIRL ICY POLES

RK Mango Raspberry swirl Icy Poles:

1 cup thick coconut milk 

1 banana 

1 1/2 cups frozen mango 


Pour one tablespoon into icy pole mold then a little raspberry swirl (same as cupcake recipe) then another  tbsp etc till you reach the top. Freeze, pop out and enjoy!

PURPLE POPS + SMOOTHIE

Ice Pop version: 

1 cup plain greek yogurt

2 cups pineapple 

3/4 cup blueberries 

1/2 cup mango (1 small)

1/2 cup coconut water 

2 dates 

2 tbsp almond butter

2 tbsp maple syrup (if desired for added sweetness)

Smoothie version: Just halve the recipe for 1 serving. Enjoy!

SUPER BABY POPS

Made with love and nourishment for babies to grow healthily (especially excellent for teething baby’s since they're nice and cold). 

There are 3 different combinations here so that mothers can change it up and give their babies a variety of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, healthy fats, protein and fiber. Blend up the recipes in your vitamix/food processor. Pour into pops (you can order the plastic pops on Amazon). Freeze. Hand to your growing baby. Both kids and adults can enjoy these too!

1/2 cup Cashews-loaded with healthy fat and protein 

1/4 cup Almonds- great source of protein for proper growth and development
